Old Bexley & Sidcup Labour Party Launch FoodieFundraiser

19th November 2018

Old Bexley & Sidcup Labour Party have launched a fundraising event to help raise funds/food for Bexley Foodbank and those in need.

The event, which is called #FoodieFundraiser will take place on Saturday 1st December 2018, between 12-3pm. Everyone is welcome to join Old Bexley & Sidcup Labour Party for drinks, cakes, a chat, and to donate to the Foodbank.

They will be taking donations of non-perishable items and cash donations on the day. Everything is welcome, whether it’s a tin of soup, some washing powder, or a £10 note!

Old Bexley & Sidcup Labour Party have adopted Bexley Foodbank as their charity for 2018. The Party have been volunteering throughout the year and this fundraiser has been arranged to help raise donations for the Foodbank.

The timing of this event is perfect, as it falls just in time for the start of the busy Christmas period, a time of year when the Foodbank’s clients will struggle even more.

If you’d like to attend and donate to the Foodbank, a list of what we need can be found in our “Give Help” section of the website. Items which are currently in short supply include:

Washing Items [Detergents]
Adult & Child Toiletries
Washing-Up Liquid
Christmas Biscuits
Christmas Chocolates [Non-Alcoholic]

Bexley Foodbank would like to take this opportunity to thank Old Bexley & Sidcup Labour Party for arranging this FoodieFundraiser.
