Alternative help with food in Bexley

Community Fridges

Staff and volunteers at Bostall Community Library, Blackfen Community Library, Belvedere Community Centre and Crayford Baptist Church are working with local food businesses, supermarkets and allotment holders to collect quality food that would otherwise be wasted.

During opening hours, anyone can help themselves to items from the fridge for free.

The fridge at Belvedere Community Centre is open from 10.00am to 12 noon every Tuesday.

The fridge at Bostall Community Library is open on Monday 9.45am to 12.45pm, Tuesday 1.15pm to 4.45pm, Thursday and Friday 9.45am to 4.45pm and Saturday 9.45am to 1.45pm.

The fridge at Crayford Baptist Church is open every Wednesday 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

The fridge at Blackfen Community Library is open Tuesdays to Fridays 9.30am–5.00pm and Saturdays 9.30am–3.00pm.
